Greenstat X DNV Safety Webinar | Session 3: Consequence Modelling in Practice (PHAST Applications)
Session 3: Consequence Modelling in Practice (PHAST Applications)
Greenstat Asia, in partnership with DNV, is pleased to continue the Hydrogen Safety & Risk Assessment Webinar Series 2026 – an eight-part programme running from July to October 2026, designed to build awareness and understanding of process safety, consequence modelling, risk assessment, and hydrogen safety across academia, industry, and government.
This session introduces participants to consequence modelling and its practical application using DNV's PHAST software. It explores how the potential outcomes of hazardous events – such as fires, explosions, and toxic releases – are predicted and quantified to support effective safety planning and informed decision-making across energy and hydrogen infrastructure projects.
The session will demonstrate how consequence modelling translates hazardous scenarios into measurable impacts, helping engineers and safety professionals evaluate severity, plan mitigation measures, and strengthen the design and operation of safe facilities.
