PTC India Ltd has entered into an MOU with Greenstat Hydrogen India Pvt Ltd (GHIPL) for the purpose of “joint developing green hydrogen solutions to Indian power market beneficiaries”.
This MoU will see both PTC India and Greenstat (a subsidiary to Norwegian Energy Company Greenstat ASA), work together towards the development of green hydrogen projects in India.
These areas include feasibility studies, project management services and/or projects for green hydrogen solutions to Indian beneficiaries.
GHIPL and PTC will work together to identify opportunities for the development of a Centre of Excellence in India for facilitation of green hydrogen.
“Green Hydrogen has enormous potential to meet future energy demand and support the transition towards a Net Zero economy.”
According to Dr. Rajib Kumar Mishra (CMD, PTC India), this association would allow PTC and Greenstat to play an important part in India’s adoption of Green Hydrogen.
Sturle Pedersen (chairman of Greenstat Hydrogen India) said “There’s good synergy with Greenstat India. Greenstat is looking forward to a long-term, fruitful partnership with PTC. Together we believe that many innovative initiatives and green hydrogen will be put into place to make the transition from fossil energy to renewable energy a success. We believe that India will be able to fulfill its net-zero commitments by collaborating with our companies and implement the “Panchamrit,” or “five elixirs” strategy.
