Hydrogen Safety
Greenstat x DNV webinar Session 2: Overview of DNV Software Suite (PHAST, Safeti & KFX)
Hydrogen Safety & Risk Assessment Webinar Series 2026
Greenstat, in partnership with DNV, is pleased to present the second session of the Hydrogen Safety & Risk Assessment Webinar Series 2026 - an eight-part programme running from July to October 2026, designed to build awareness and understanding of process safety, consequence modelling, risk assessment, and hydrogen safety across academia, industry, and government.
Building on the foundations established in Session 1, this webinar introduces DNV's industry-leading software suite used for process safety, consequence modelling, and quantitative risk assessment. Participants will gain an overview of PHAST, Safeti, and KFX, exploring their core capabilities, key application areas, and how these tools support safer engineering design, operational decision-making, and regulatory compliance across industrial and energy projects.
This session provides valuable insight into the DNV software ecosystem and establishes the foundation for subsequent webinars covering consequence modelling, risk assessment methodologies, and advanced CFD applications.
📅 Date: 17 July 2026
🕓 Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (IST)
🎓 Session: Overview of DNV Software Suite (PHAST, Safeti & KFX)
• Introduction to PHAST, Safeti, and KFX
• Overview of each software's purpose and capabilities
• Key application areas across industrial and energy sectors
• How DNV software supports safety, risk assessment, and engineering design decisions
• Role of digital modelling tools in improving process safety and operational resilience
By the end of this session, participants will:
• Understand the purpose and capabilities of PHAST, Safeti, and KFX
• Recognize the primary applications of DNV's software suite in industrial safety and hydrogen projects
• Understand how modelling tools support hazard identification, consequence analysis, and risk-informed decision-making
• Gain awareness of the DNV software ecosystem and its role throughout the project lifecycle
• Build a foundation for upcoming sessions on consequence modelling, quantitative risk assessment (QRA), and advanced CFD applications
• University faculty, researchers, and students
• Engineers and technical professionals
• Government and regulatory representatives
• Energy, petroleum, chemical, and utility sector professionals
• Safety practitioners and consultants
This webinar forms part of a structured eight-session learning journey designed to progressively build knowledge from process safety fundamentals to practical applications using DNV's software solutions. Participants are encouraged to register for the full series to gain maximum value from the programme and develop a comprehensive understanding of industrial safety, risk assessment, and hydrogen safety.
